“Legal” Candy

Legal Candy – Carol Wright

Use equal amounts of these ingredients to create a paste:

  1. Tahini (Sesame paste)
  2. Organic coconut oil
  3. Coconut Manna/butter-or coconut meal (grind dried fresh coconut into a flour)


  1. Raw Honey and/ or Stevia for sweetness (how much is up to you)
  2. Real Salt
  3. 1 Tsp. Organic Vanilla extract

Add to keep good paste consistency:

  1. Flax Meal
  2. Chai Seeds
  3. Sesame seeds
  4. Almond meal (course ground almonds). Bob’s Red Mill” or “Traditionally Natural” make almond meal

Melt over hot water, not boiling:

  1. 1-2 bars 100% cacao chocolate (baking chocolate) unsweetened
  2. Fold into the paste
  3. Taste for salt and sweetness. Adjust if necessary.

Add for texture:

  • Any nut, seed or small dried fruit pieces or seed you like.


  1. Pour onto a non-stick foil and cover with another piece of nonstick foil.
  2.  Roll out to ¼ inch thick.
  3. Place into refrigerator and let harden.
  4.  Break into pieces and package in foil.
  5. Keep in refrigerator.
