  • 5 cloves of garlic, finely minced
  • 2 tsp sea salt
  • 1C unfiltered water
  • 1 Tbsp whey or brine from a previous ferment
  • 1/2 lemon with peel, thinly sliced

Ingredients:

  • 3 slices bacon
  • 1 small-medium red beet, chopped into 1" chunks
  • 1 small-medium yellow onion, dinced
  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped (approximately 16 leaves)
  • 2 cups carrots, chopped (about three large)
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • 1 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 1/2 tsp capers
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • Nutritional yeast (optional)
