What was it like before you came to see us?

I met Aaron at a workshop on Sugar Cravings (which I had a problem with). While I didn’t have a diagnosis of anything serious, I knew it was just a matter of time. I was very over-weight (morbidly obese), I had joint pain, especially in my knees and a lot of problems with my feet. I also had digestive issues, bloating, constipation, just feeling so badly all the time that I didn’t even realize it wasn’t “normal” not to feel that way. I was also exhausted ALL of the time- I would consume sugar (in my tea, or in the form of donuts, etc.) to get through the morning, more sugar to get through the afternoon (more tea, and a candy bar- or two). The symptoms were too vague to see a medical doctor and expect any response other than “lose weight”- which is easier said than done. It’s hard to commit to an exercise program when you feel bad, your knees and feet hurt, and you have absolutely NO energy.

What was is like before coming to see us?

Before coming to Whole Health Nutrition Center, I struggled with sugar addiction, lack of sleep, fatigue, inflammation, and arthritis. I would feel tired throughout the day and be worse in the late afternoon. I constantly craved sugar and would eat sweets (cakes, cookies, chocolates, etc) without thinking. I also drank a lot of diet soda. Even though I had changed my diet and thought I was eating the right things, it turns out; I had a lot to learn.

What was it like before you came to see us? 

Before I saw Aaron, I was a miserable teenager. I never felt well enough to participate in anything, including running; which was something I enjoyed. I had to stop playing basketball because I was weak and it drove the team down. I used to always be sick and constantly at the doctor’s office.  

How is it now?

I am now able to hold a job because I can stand for longer periods of time. My energy level increased so much in so little time. I still get sick every now and then, but it is for only two days rather than two weeks. I’ve overall felt happier and healthier than ever!

What was it like before you came to see us?

I was overweight and addicted to sugar. I was not motivated to exercise or be very active. The only bright side was that I decided to do something about it.  

How is it now?

Mariner Robert Head 1st Eval Since working with Aaron at Whole Health Nutrition Center, I lost fourteen pounds by giving up sugar and grains. I exercise more and feel better. I don’t feel as tired as I used to be and feel better about myself. My clothes fit better too.

What was it like before you came to see us?

I had low energy, no stamina, became easily winded, and had difficulty exercising; fatigue and exhaustion. I have coronary artery disease and had 3 heart cauterizations, 5 stents and a mild heart attack in the six or so months prior to my first visit with Aaron. I could hardly attend the Cardiac Rehab exercise sessions due to fatigue and severe angina. When I did exercise I had to take Nitro for jaw pain (Angina) and or I would be sent home from the Cardiac Rehab session before I could complete the circuit. I would then need to contact my Cardiologist for permission to return to the Cardiac Rehab.
