Heartburn & GERD

What was it like before you came to see us?

When I began at WHNC with Nutritional Response Testing (NRT), I had been told that I had to take medication for the rest of my life for GERD. My blood pressure was 160/90 and I was being pressured to go on meds for high BP. I was also frequently on antibiotics and prednisone for chronic sinus infections. I had five sinus infections during an eight month period. I was steadily gaining weight each month from the medications and still suffered with sticky, thick mucus. I also have allergies and long term chronic issues with asthma and was plagued with rashes that no one could explain.

I had horrible eczema on my hands with cuts that bleed. I had regular acute heartburn, reflux and Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD). I always had a nervous twitch in my leg. I was very tired all day with very little energy and struggled to lose weight. My gallbladder and liver tested at zero.

How is it now?

My eczema is 95% better. I don’t need to take medication for heartburn anymore. My leg doesn’t twitch anymore. I have more energy and feel great! My gallbladder and liver tested at 10 and are fully functional. I lost 16 pounds of parasites and fat buildup during my cleansing. This success story was shared with us by Mark J. on 4/5/2013.

Before coming to Whole Health I was feeling pretty discouraged.  I was putting on weight, my joints and body ached and I felt like I could sleep 23 hours per day.  Overall I could not think clearly (foggy brained) and was feeling twice my age. I also was having digestive issues which I was told was acid reflux and I needed to take medicine for.  In addition, my whole life I have suffered with headaches almost daily.

How is it now?

I can honestly say that I feel so different. My energy level has increased tremendously. I am able to think clearer and my body does not ache constantly. My weight is dropping and I haven’t had acid type symptoms in quite some time.  Overall, I have to say that I feel so much better ad now realize the importance of what we eat! Thank you Aaron & all!

What was it like before you came to see us?

Before I started coming to the WHNC I had been suffering from stomach problems for over a year. I was getting bloated every time I ate. I would sometimes get really gassy and soon I found that I couldn’t eat anything with dairy without severe stomach pains. I saw two different doctors and they both told me something different. One doctor said it was Celiac and the other said Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). I went on a gluten free diet and tried gas medicines, but nothing helped. I was also diagnosed with acid reflux disease and was taking antacids 1-2 times a day to help keep the heartburn under control. I also suffered from fatigue and lack of energy. All I wanted to do was sleep. I was losing this battle with my body and needed help. Then a friend referred me to WHNC.

Very hard! I had a hard time walking without a walker. I was in pain from a number of ailments and I was worried I wouldn’t be able to play with my grandchildren. Being able to watch them again was my goal. I also wanted to get off all the drugs I was taking for everything.

How is it now?

So much better! I am not done; I know, but I also know I am closer than I expected to be by this time! My fibromyalgia almost never flares up or bothers me. I’ve cut my medications in half. I walk without a cane for a distance and my Barrett’s esophagus is under much better control. I rarely take these meds! Oh and I’ve lost 40lbs!
