What was it like before you came to see us?
I first came to Whole Health Nutrition center in March 2012. I was feeling lousy and tired all the time. I couldn’t get through the day without taking a two to three hour nap; something was obviously wrong. I am a full-time mom, college student, and worked 30 hours a week, and my health was severely limiting my ability to do what needed to be done every day. While I have been fairly committed to a healthy lifestyle throughout my life, I’ve always been a sugar addict and wasn’t able to break free of the habit. I desperately wanted to feel better, and a friend suggested that I try the Whole Health Nutrition program. At first, I felt overwhelmed. As I started to keep my food journal, I saw that I was consuming 35-45 sugars a week. How was I going to eliminate all of that sugar? There was so much going on in my life that I felt I didn’t have the energy to commit to the lifestyle changes Aaron proposed. I stopped seeing Aaron and changing my diet. Aaron seemed to genuinely want to help; he suggested that I not give up entirely, saying that he would be willing to begin working with me again as soon as I was ready.
